Nordstrom's NYC flagship for women is here


If you want to shop in NYC, think of a crowd of tourists in Times Square or living your best Breakfast at Tiffany re-enactment with a pit stop in Fifth Avenue. Nordstrom is on a mission to change that.

Earlier this week, Nordstrom opened its new 320,000-square-foot flagship store across Columbus Circle and Central Park, just a short distance from Nordstrom's flagship store across the street, launched in April last year , complete with seven floors where customers can purchase a composite selection of their favorite brands such as Dries Van Noten, Givenchy, Saint Laurent, Vince, Ted Baker London, Madewell, Reformation and Topshop. The magical retail space also offers three different shoe sections featuring styles from Gucci, Prada, Christian Louboutin, UGG, Steve Madden, and the permanent Nordstrom x Nike installation. Handbags, jewelry, restaurants and more are found throughout the seven-story space.

If clothes and shoes aren't of interest to you, what about two floors? Nordstrom's new space features 16 stores from popular beauty markets such as YSL, MAC, Diptyque, Byredo and more. You can relax a bit and have your eyebrows raised at Anastasia Beverly Hills, or get a sculpture in FaceGym. To personalize each buyer’s experience, Nordstrom has also developed digital experiences, such as a Lipstick and Fragrance Finder.

To celebrate its new move, Nordstrom launched Perfect Pairs, an exclusive collaboration with 14 brands and collaboration with famous NYC-bred faces including Steve Madden x Winnie Harlow, Cole Haan and Cleo Wade, Birkenstock with celebrity stylist Leslie Fremar, now available on nordstrom com. Other personalities featured in the campaign include stylist Shiona Turini, tennis pro Maria Sharapova, Manrepeller's Leandra Medine, and designers Mara Hoffman and Kim Shui, and influencer Alyssa Coscarelli.
