On Monday night, the 2019 Fashion Awards – formerly known as the British Fashion Awards and revamped to compete with the annual Met Gala and CFDA Awards in New York – welcomed the industry's biggest names and stylish celebrities at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Participants included Julia Roberts, Alexa Chung, Naomi Campbell and so much more. This year's host was Tracee Ellis Ross, who led the night in five exhibitions for outings: & # 39; a white Loewe handkerchief; & # 39; a multicolor floral print dress by Richard Quinn; & # 39; a green and black brocade unraveled by Erdem; & # 39; A Gucci gown dipped in sequins; and a festive, crimson Simone Rocha dress.

Before Ellis Ross stole the sartorial spotlight, the red carpet was glittering proof that London is incredibly skilled at dressing up. The look was tastefully festive, with just the right amount of feathers and sparkle. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley shines in a gold embellished rear Bottega Veneta gown, and also Donatella Versace in a warm pink metallic dress. Lily James was in a fall 2019 Valentino Haute Couture look with a huge gilded bow, while Rihanna, who later accepted her first fashion award for Fenty, arrived in a puffy mint green jam which she designed herself.
